MOOC's

Something I learned about last week in class are MOOC's - Massive, Open, Online Courses.  These are being used by companies as ways to train their employees.  They are starting to use outside courses that are offered by websites such as Coursera to enhance employee learning and engagement.  This helps companies as they are able to educate employees for a very low cost but still provide them with excellent learning opportunities.  Other companies are setting up their own MOOC's with great success.  It is a simple way to encourage continues education amongst employees.
